Join us for a day trip through the beautiful Langhe wine region, featuring visits to La Morra, Alba, Barolo. The tour will include lunch featuring local cuisine, followed by an afternoon wine tasting at one of the most renowned local wineries (cost not included with registration fee). Estimated cost: 90€
Itinerary for Thursday Excursion (9 September 2027)
Turin → La Morra → Alba → Vite Colte Winery (Barolo) → Barolo
08:30 AM — Departure from TurinDeparture by GT coach or minivan from Turin heading towards the Langhe wine region.
09:45 AM — La Morra (Panoramic Viewpoint)A short photo stop at the famous viewpoint (Belvedere) of La Morra to admire the Barolo vineyards from above before the crowds arrive.
11:00 AM — AlbaA walking tour through the medieval historic center. Free time to explore, shop for local specialties (like truffles and chocolates), and enjoy lunch at a local osteria.
02:30 PM — Drive to BaroloThe bus will drive through the scenic Barolo hills to reach the winery.
03:00 PM — Guided Tour & Tasting at Vite ColteA guided tour of the modern winery and its spectacular underground barrel cellar. A wine tasting featuring a selection of prestigious local labels (including their renowned Barolo crus and Barbera d’Alba), paired with traditional Piedmontese breadsticks (grissini). The experience lasts about 1.5 hours.
05:00 PM — Short Stroll in Barolo VillageA quick walk around the historic village at the foot of the Falletti Castle before boarding the bus.
05:30 PM — Return to TurinDeparture for Turin, with an estimated arrival time around 07:00 PM.
In September, we will have the chance to visit the Truffle Museum in Alba and enjoy local dishes featuring fresh truffles at traditional restaurants, as the city is world-renowned for this delicacy.
